  1. Problem Statement

In this modern era of computers, using a software application may help businesses optimize their system to make sure that inventory data is always kept in check and accurate. Traditional method of using books might sound easy at first, as it’s the way we’ve learnt how to do when we were younger, but the chance of a slip up is higher because there are no validations and you have to rely on your memory to use books. 

  1. Target User

In this database we would like to create, the user of our database will be the traditional store which need a better database to track and organize their shop inventory and cashier system. The admin of the database will be pointed by the shop itself, we will create the database as simple as possible for the user that the user can use the database flexible, and can do what they want to without any confuse so they won’t confuse when make the invoice manually.

  1. List of Relations

Here we would like to create up to 5 relations/tables. The five tables are the supplier of the item, the costumers, the employee, the item, the transaction, and the transaction details. Each of those tables will have one or more relation with the other table. The schema :
